It’s been such a beautifully dry, hot summer. I have spent every moment possible outside soaking up the sun-poolside, having friends and family over for cookouts, running around with our dogs, and simply sitting outside watching the clouds.Alex and I keep calling this the summer of music because we have driven a total of 16 hours, been through 3 states, and got to see about 12 different bands play, including two of my favorite artists: Lacey Sturm and Paul McCartney.
I also got to see the Oscar Mayer mobile, something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid.One of my end-of-summer traditions: this giant hot fudge sundae from my hometown called The New Phila Delight.
Looking back at my Summer Bucket List, I would say I did a pretty good job of completing it. I didn’t get everything done, but still would like to do #8 and #10 before fall is in full swing. This week is the county fair and First Friday, and I also plan on trying to get to all of the local farmer’s markets a few more times this season. Soon I will have to compile my “the rest of the year list” (and hopefully create a better title for it.) I would love to know, what are some of your goals for the rest of 2016? Let me know in the comments! Have a great Hump Day.
