I recently made these strawberry and watermelon fruit kabobs as an appetizer for a cookout. My palate changes drastically during summer months, and I crave “lighter foods” that are refreshing and don’t require heating up the house with the stove. These could not get any easier to make! Simply, cut up watermelon and strawberries and layer onto wooden skewers along with fresh basil and cuts of mozzerella. I think they would also be delicious with mint leaves. They would make a great addition to your Sunday dinner, or as a snack, anytime.
