This week, Outfit Inspiration has been taken over by Part III of my holiday guide series. Click here to read Part I, and here for Part II. Part III will give you outfit inspiration for the holidays that will not break the bank. In fact, I will give you ideas on how to spruce up your Thanksgiving and Christmas wear by only having to purchase one or two new pieces. You can look stylish for all of your festivities (yes, even the inevitable office party), without buying an all new wardrobe!
Take a chic pair of black jeans, black boots, and a black handbag to a whole new level by splurging on a fitted jacket and statement necklace. Wear the jacket and necklace for more than one occasion by switching your jeans out for a skirt and tights.
Your standard blazer and pumps get a festive makeover when paired with a metallic pencil skirt. Wear it to the office during the day, then trade the blazer for a leather jacket for evening.
This combo could not get any easier: little black dress + new red lipstick + new sparkly necklace = holiday ready!
Spice up your ordinary jacket and jeans with an embellished sweatshirt and stack of bracelets. This allows you to look holiday appropriate, while still staying comfortable for traveling or chasing the kids around.
Leggings with chambray and a sweater get an upgrade with cute new ankle booties and a chunky necklace! This is a perfect outfit if your are going to be spending a lot of your holiday time traveling. Wear a pair of flats for the flight or drive, then switch to booties when you arrive.
